Marée Noire au Claire de Lune is a dark piece exploring the ambivalent nature of oil: a natural resource that has drastically shaped the world around us. Each piece made of black corian is shaped to random natural movements and encases the beauty of creation and the darkness of its consequences.

This project has its origins in Longchamp's traditional know-how of stitched leather covers. Working with the landscape of a leather-covered desk, whose lines blur horizontally on the work surface, the design evokes a sand dune.

Despite its name, Sunday Morning is conceived as a working desk. The soft wave on its top lends to the design a quality of sensuality, a caress from the soft light of a Sunday morning.

Obi is the name given to the sash on a Japanese kimono, which looks simple to fasten but, in reality, attaching the bands is an art in itself. Taking this complexity as inspiration, the Obi table is composed of a wood band which binds the object’s parts together.
